These are all wonderful wonderful things. Little steps. He is no longer intubated & is moving around more & letting his Mama hear what his cry sounds like. Very welcome sounds to her ears.

Some really positive steps there George, you are doing a great job little fella, sending you continued strength and courage, keeping you and your mummy in my thoughts, your Daddy and Big sister and watching over you.
Keep growing stronger and stronger precious George. You have a very special Mumma who loves you so so much as do your brother and sister who are on this earth and you have your Daddy and big sister watching and protecting from above. You have so many people barracking for you and we all love you.
Michelle you are an amazing woman hun. You are doing an amazing job. I love you and truly admire your strength and courage. You have been dealt with far more than you ever should have been but you have all the love and support from so many loving people who would drop everything to come help you out when you need it

I am so relieved to hear Michelle sounding so so so much better today. She's had a win with the hospital red tape (originally they were not allowing anyone to visit George without a parent which was of course restricted to only Michelle as Greg though I have no doubt he is with Georgie Boy in NICU nobody is aware of that! ). Now family can visit George's cot side without Michelle present.
Lily is feeding at her Mamas breast and this of course is stimulating supply for her little brother. Oscar is calling him George Monkey!
George is still cooling and the warming process will begin tomorrow (this is for neurological reasons- he is like snap frozen baby peas we joked to retain his "goodness") so he is not yet taking oral fluids. But Michelle has the boobies happening so that's all waiting for George Monkey too!
All in all things are looking so much better - Michelle sounds more like Michelle thanks to a good nights sleep last night.
I am one happy friend and no doubt you all will be happy to hear this too!
Thanks for the update Inanna. I too am thrilled that family can now visit George if Michelle is resting.
All the best with the warming process tomorrow. I hope things start looking up from here on in.
