Has anyone had an ectopic?

I have been (previous post) told I could possibly have the signs of an ectopic pregnancy and was just wondering if anyone could give me an idea of the symptoms they had and if they were the same as mine.

I am about 4.5 weeks, at 3.5 weeks I did HPT and postive so went to dr and HCG tested, result 3784, then 4 days later brown discharge and then light bleeding (dark red) went back to dr and HCG tested, droped to 3400, I have now had light bleeding for 4 days it is lighter than a normal period and a bit different in colour and consistency. I am a little worried. Going back to dr today for another HCG test and should get results tomorrow.

My has said I do not have signs of ectopic so I am confused. I live in the country so if I did and it ruptured I may be in a bit of bother.

my signs were the levels not dropping correctly even though I was spotting, I ahad no pain now becuase my levels were dropping I was allowed to go with the montioring option which was daily b/t after 4 weeks I was given methotextrate injection to end the pg....

I personally would be asking for another b/t if level is going down great if it has stayed same or even risen by 1 I would demand a u/s that is me, never to safe in my words

I had a ruptured ectopic on the 23 August 2006. Here is my story

HPT was really feint but the doctor confirmed that I was spregnant we were so excited and really happy.... had some spotting for about two days - was told that this could be old blood.... well a few weeks later at 7pm I sat down to eat dinner and had the most excruciating pain down my side, I thought ok may be its my irrital bowl palying up... went and had a bath pain got worse (never once would I allow myself to think that I may lose this baby) .... got out of the bath and went to lay down got worse and worse then I went to get up go to the toilet and fainted - DH called an ambulance and was taken to hospital (my local) and I waited 4 HOURS to see a doctor and fainted again and again, I had serve shoulder tip pain - finally transported to Canberra hospital where I under went emergency surgery - had a blood transfusion and almost died.... my right tube had ruptured and I waited at the stupid hospital with internal bleeding.......

Sorry if that sounds scary but please please if you have any pain please go striaght to the Maternity section of your nearest hospital -

But I went on to have an amazing boy who is love of my life and we are now thinking of trying again -

I went to back to the Dr, my HCG had dropped from 3100 to 900, which is a good sign. The bleeding has continued, went the ob/gyn and he did a scan, little bit left in the uterus but opted for no d & c as he thinks it will come away naturally over the next few days. Thinks ectopic is unlikely given the high level of HCG at the start. However got to keep having bloods just in case.

that it is a m/c but also glad for you that it looks liek will resolve itself naturally
