I had a D&C with my last m/c and the actual surgery does not take long at all. They only give you a light anaesthetic and most of your time in hospy will be in Recovery. I was worried about the general too because I have had one before and had lots of vomiting after that one. But I had none after the D&C, I was just really tired for the rest of the day. Don't really know though if that was because of the general or just being really really sad
Thanks Megsmum it makes me feel a little better knowing its only a light one and not a full blown one.. I just remember freaking out when I woke up in 1st stage after another op screaming for my partner then passing out then I woke up in my room then would not stop vomiting.. So atleast I can feel as though that won't be happening this time!
Hey Ladies,
The op went well yesterday its soo strange I feel like I am coping better I don't know if its cause I have had closure and that I know now I need to move on! TMI I have had no bleeding since the operation I am not sure if this is normal or not? My tummy has gone down soo much I don't know if its because I was showing early or what its weird...
Thankyou all of you for your kind words it makes it soo much easier to heal when you have all these wonderful people giving you support xxxxx
I am so sorry to hear about your loss
As I am reading this I am shedding tears for you. After everything you went through to conceive this little angel. Words can't express enough, just know that I am for you and DP and wish you every strength in the world to get through this tough time.
Oh Miss K - I don't know how I could have missed all this. I am just so so sorry that your bubba left you so early, my sweet. Glad to hear the op went ok - hope u r healing ok - physically is usually quicker than emotionally. Big hug hun.
