    MrsDex - and you me.

That is such good news about the levels. You must be over the moon, walking on air. It is soo good to hear. It is so good to hear that they are the best yet. It give me hope...

Today, was fantastic. After DH went to work I went to sleep for 2 hours. Good way to avoid the heat too. I am tired now, but not so bone tired as I have been. And MS was less intense today too. And I slept through again last night, no insomnia. I did wake up at 5am, but that's kind of within the usual time anyway for me.

No funny cat stories. They are flaked out from the heat. Oh actually today during a thunder storm we all got freaked out when there was a lightening strike close by. My heart was in my mouth and I flinched. The cats all ran away, but then came back for comfort. I don't remember being afraid of storms but when that strike was so close I actually was scared for a moment. Must be the noise.

Poor Boofy dog. They are so funny with the bucket on their head, but it gets noisy if you have a tiled floor! Hope he mends quickly and this is soon a distant memory . I actually grew up a "dog person", and it is DH and our busy lifestyle that converted me to cats. I still love dogs, but cats just have something that endears them to me. Perhaps they constantly remind me that I am not the boss of them, and any control of them that I think I have is an illusion. It's funny I try and get dog affection where ever I can - a GF has a german shepherd and when I visit her I spend time playing and patting the dog.

My nickname is from Dory the fish in Finding Nemo, for being so vague. My team mates on a sporting team sort of coined the nick name when I seemed to never know what was going on in the drills. I used to love playing sport, because it was the one time I didn't have to be serious or responsible. I could be silly and vague and just have crazy fun. I still took the actually game seriously and was very competitive, but just had a lot of fun doing it. I can't play during pg, but that's just what needs to happen. When the season starts up I will go out and socialise with the girls.

Say hello to your DH for me. He can call me Dora the Explorer any time. I know someone who claimed their child was "bilingual" because of Dora. The kiddie was watching Dora and picked up a few words in spanish. It makes me smile. The power of TV. Hola!

Take care, and good luck for Thursday! I won't be far away til then.

Dory - I've been good, slowly coming to terms with the chem preg last month, but each day is better than the one before, and I'm hopeful for this month. Just need O to turn up now lol

MrsDex - I literally cried when I saw your post, both the one announcing the BFP and yesterdays one. I was so shocked! Those levels are absolutely fantastic!

I'm in Vic, about 2 hours or so out of melbourne.

MrsDex - AWESOME!!!!!!! That level is just rocketing up. I am a big fan of early scans. How are you going to go waiting a week? Although it will be nice not to have to go for pathology collection. It doesn't worry me, but I find it tedious. I am in, not so sunny at the moment, Qld.

Jenna - A chemical pregnancy must be so hard to comprehend. Good to hear you are getting your head around it. Hope you have the big O soon and catch that egg.

Who would ever have thought this journey could be so hard for each of us, in our own ways, but similar in terms of the heartbreak.

    Thanks Ladies!

Well... 5wks 2 days today & I'm still not sure I believe it!?!
Yesterday was a VERY LONG day hoping & praying we could get thru it without anything going wrong. Then again everyday is long at the minute...

Only 2 days left to wait for another HCG & I'm just dying to see the results. One minute I'm fine & just dandy costing along, 5 minutes later Im anxious & wish it was results time already. One extreme to the other in such a short time Waiting for our first scan should technically send me insane lol. Ahhhh.... Only 9 sleeps to go!

Jenna, so very very sorry to hear of your rough month, sending big snuggles your way Hope things are on the up side for you very very very soon. Be strong love & thank you so very kindly for your thoughtful words of excitement & encouagement.

Dory, your so right! The heartbreak so similar for each of us... I still struggle to understand how I can always find sooooooo much comfort around you ladies, in reality we are total strangers. We would not know if we passed each other in the street! It really is incredible. Yet, you ladies are my constant source of information, support & genuine care. Closest family & friends are also wonderful, but of course (& at no fault of theirs) really can never grip how we live with our situations every minute of everyday. Only us who are in the boat can possibly grasp that.

QLD Dory! Where is the sun hiding!?! & Vic Jenna, me too. I'm about an hour from the city.

Hey Mrs Dex - how did your appointment go today with Dr S? Was thinking of you today. I am feeling pretty quiet today so won't write much. Hang in there.

    Well... It didn't.

When they called me last week to try to re schedule the apppointment as Gavin had an important meeting to attend, I explained that it was not of huge importance that the appt be in the next few days, there are women who are not pregnant that need his time first. They were happy for me to delay the appointment until if and when I felt the need to re book one. So no appointment. Blah, not exciting I know. But the avenue is there when we need it.

I think I know very well why your quiet (yesterday), I actually found myself thinking of you during the day...

My thoughts are with each of you Dory.

Hey Mrs Dex - oh bugger. Oh well. I hate being rescheduled. Like you said, it's there if you need it. How are those levels going? You tested on Thursday right? So you should have the results back by now?

AFM - I was doing great, but back to reality yesterday with another very small bleed. Some more today, early this morning, but nothing since. So my little bubble of invincibility burst again, and I am back to realising just how tenuous this pg journey actually is.

But I was thinking, the last bleed occurred at 6 weeks and 6 days and this one is 10 weeks 2 days and 10 weeks 3 days, about 4 weeks in between? Hmm food for thought. My ob gets back from 2 weeks holidays tomorrow and its just so reassuring for me to know he's back. I know I can call him anytime and he'll give me the time. Whilst the ob on calls for him would be ok, they won't be his personality or have the knowledge of my history. So even though I am hoping I don't need to go to see him or call, its just reassuring to know he's around.

23rd Feb wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. In the end, I had a really peaceful day and felt proud and strong and connected to DH and my angels, but particularly Amelia. Really, I just felt blessed. Sometimes I just can't get my head around that, but I did and do feel that way. I suppose out of all the heartache I have been able to remember some things that I am very thankful for. It's not to mean I am thankful for the whole journey, that just seems crass. But I can take away some things that help me get through. Next day is 3 March - it's the 1st anniversary of the little sprites EDD ( sprite is from the first m/c I had). Then a bit of a reprieve until July, then 4/5 weeks later in August. That my friend, seems ages away.

But then, as you said, in our lives at the moment, it is AGES away. If everything goes ok in August I will be 7/8 months along. So at this point, that is just inconceivable.

My friend, I am thinking of you and wishing you all the best. Take care.

    Dory,

I will never get over how much I delight in hearing from you!

You poor love, another fright Your right about the 4 week deal thou. Wonder what the deal is with that? Have you seen your ob??? Any news there??? Nothing since is a great sign & I hope to goodness it stays that way for you... I will never understand why this world works the way it does. But keep looking ahead! August will be here before we know it & I hope it will be an amazing month for you x

I'm so glad to hear you had somewhat a 'spiritual' Feb 23rd... You are an amazing woman. To manage to draw strenght from your experiences & continue in the journey is just mind blowing. You shuld be very very proud of yourself Dory... Being able to remember something you are thankful for under such circumstances is a huge..... I don't even have a word to describe it!?! I have EVERYTHING crossed for you my friend!

I am great... My last BT came back with a HCG of 6882. Not quite a 100% increase but about 85% none the less over the course of almost a week & the gp must have been happy with that as she allowed one of the girls that work at the desk to pass on the results. Today I am 6w 1d & still struggle to believe it... I really do feel wonderful, lucky & excited. DH & I are almost discussing it like daily news! There is a first. We are holding out for our scan on Thursday (thankfully now only 3 days away) but I do feel 'fine' & confident that everything is going to be ok... We also have our appointment at the RWH Recurrent MC Clinic later the same day. Glad I didnt terminate our involvement there as they have reassured me via phone that they will take care of me during the pregnancy & keep a close eye WITHOUT needing another bloody referal! YEAY! I'm not too anxious about the days to come. Another first. So I do again consider myself to be the luckiest girl in the world.

PLEASE let me know how you get along with your ob... How are you going at home? Keeping yourself occupied? Don't you dare do 1 thing you dont have to do! Lots & lots of rest & self administered TLC when DH is not home, I insist!

I'm resigning from work tomorrow, they are just horrible people to deal with & one of my customers offered me a job. I called in to see them on the way home tonight & they want me regardles of only being available for 6 months (told them the deal straight up) & I will be doing 10 less hours a week for more $ - So excited I have more time for DS. With just starting high school he needs a mum's hand with homework & being organised. Now I will be able to drop him at the bus stop rather than walking everyday too. I was dreading him having to do that in winter! I wouldnt want to thats for sure! Not to mention he gets back int footy training next week & I havent missed a session yet, so I'm very pleased I wont have to miss it now.

Sorry I didnt call in for a few days. We had a hugely busy weekend with weddings & dinners & by the time I got home Thur & Fri last week. I shoved a bit of food in my mouth on the way to bed & was off with the fairies in no time! So this is actually the first time I have sat at my pc since last!

Anyways, let me know how you are getting along. I do hope everything is ok

    Much Love x

    Miss you more! Lol...

Quiche, yummo! We just had a throw together meal tonight, but potato gems were high on my list of priorities!

I have indulged in a bit of "rubbish" like food of late & am really over it. I'm starving for healthy things now. The thought of broccoli puts half a smile on my face ppffft!

Gastro! Oh no... I hope it was not too bad for you. What a horrible illness it is!

Do hope your travelling along well. I'm doing great. Next scan on the 18th,not far away at all. But I'm not climbling the walls anymore and thats just lovely!

Wonder how Jenna is getting along???

Super Huge Hugs your way x

Hi guys, I've been a bit lax in getting back on here lately

Mrs Dex - Looks like that little bubba of yours is going to be a sticky one! Nice heartbeat and good HCG levels too!

Dory - BIIIIG Hugs darl for the scare! Sounds like you might have the bleeding that some women get when their AF would have been due.

Weird thing though, I just read an article in a magazine on a woman who got pregnant and was in and out of hospital with regular bleeding approx every 4 weeks, turned out she had 2 uteruses! So she had AF coming from one uterus while her bub's was growing quite happily in the other. As I said, weird lol.

afm - I had a bHCG test last friday as the wednesday before I'd had a faint line come up on a HPT, and got a progesterone test done at the same time.

bHCG was negative, but progesterone was low at 12.1 instead of the 15 or higher it was supposed to be.

Anyway, Tuesday morning I did another HPT and got a strong BFP!

I'm still not believing it just yet after the negative bHCG test, but I've been queasy every morning since saturday, and AF was due monday just gone, so I'm 3 days late!

DH is getting me another HPT to do on saturday morning when he will be home, so I'm in limbo until then.

I keep on getting sharp cramps late at night and I start panicking that AF is going to come.
Every night when I go to sleep I can't help but think that I'll wake up in the morning to find that I dreamt it all.
So scary, and so exciting at the same time.

    I hope you're both well!
