Some advice please?

Hi all,

Just joined today, and I am hoping for some advice from others that have been in a similar situation to me.....
I found out last week that I was expecting. From a blood test my Dr estimated that I was approx 5-6 weeks pregnant - but my cycle is normally longer than 28 days so there is a chance I may not be that far along. I had been spotting v-lightly on and off all week (hardly even noticeable) but 2 days after the bt I passed a small clear runny mass of discharge that contained a dark brown clot the same shape as a kidney bean - just a little smaller - is this normal? There was no 'new' blood and no pain at all, but I was still worried that I had mc.
My Dr sent me for an u/s yesterday and the sonographer couldn't see anything in my uterus at all, neither could he find any sign of an ectopic pregnancy - and he was very abrupt about it all which really upset me.
Has anyone else mc early in their pregnancy with no pain and no bleeding? I have an appt with my Dr today, but any advice would be much appreciated as I have been worrying myself sick all night

So sorry that the sonographer was so insensitive. Hopefully your dr will be more understanding.

Cheers for your kindness Nadine, I'm leaving for the Dr shortly, fingers crossed he suggests that maybe I'm not as far gone as we thought and that I go for another scan in a week just to make sure...

Thanks for the hugs, this last week has been very long!!!! I had a b/t 2day, get the results 2moro, but Dr has told me to prepare for the worst.... Will let you know.

Hi,
Not sure how to write about it just yet, need more time maybe.
Got home from hospital today, I lost my angel on Tuesday morning at 11am when my left fallopian tube ruptured and I had surgery to have my angel (at approx 8 weeks), left ovary and fallopian tube removed. Say some prayers for my angel, I have never felt so miserable in my whole life.

Oh Clare, I am so so sorry to hear what you have been through! It's bad enough to have lost your little angel, but to have to go through something so traumatic at the same time is devastating!

My thoughts are with you and your family.
