GiiGii, you said it is brown blood. Brown blood is old blood, and could be fine. Waiting to have a definitive result as to exactly what is happening will ensure that you don't have an unneccessary D&C. Approximately 1 in 3 women have bleeding in pg, so I wouldn't give up hope just yet hun. Here's hoping the next time you see your uterus on an ultrasound screen, there is a heart beating away, and that your little one is in for the long haul. Good luck sweets

    Hoping for the best

    Hi there,
We are all hoping for the best for you, particularly as your signs don't look that ominous right now. Although I don't pray in the conventional sense, you are in my heart.
I'm waiting to have a miscarriage right now - I'm exactly 6 weeks, and the HcG levels are no longer doubling (or anywhere near what they should be). I have to wait another 4 days for my first scan, assuming I don't miscarry before then (no signs yet), and the waiting is hell. I have been through this before too, and so I know that, painful as it is, IT WILL PASS.
Good luck with everything; you are right to insist on further scans. There are too many stories of misdiagnosis from single scans (check out misdiagnosed miscarriage website).

Gii Gii, honey im thinking of you.

I didnt have have any cramping at all with my two mc's but then this time around I had cramping, bright blood, clots even, an "empty sac" on the U/S and HCG that wasnt rising much at all.... but my bub is just fine now.

we are all different and every PG is different... I know your Doc said more HCG's arent "necessary" but if thats what you want then jump up and down until you get it. GL honey, sending you all the sticky vibes in the world.

    GiiGii

I am 27, no fibroids but going through the same thing. Spotting and losing little tiny particles etc in discharge. Its not a heavy bleed for me but I didnt knwo what to think, I was in emergency last night and they told me of normal misscariiage symptoms and i went for a scan today and saw a heartbeat, Im 6 weeks and 1day, pretty bloody early for anything but right now Im in the waiting and seeing stage...

Will be looking out to see if you have more blood tests/scans etc.

My levels yesterday were 1170 from 680 on monday.that isnt double.. but i dont know.. dr said he was happy but Im ambiguous about it all. I havent been through a m/c before, this is our first child together we're trying to hold onto here..!

Hope all goes well and we're just one of those freaks that has bleeding and goes on ok.. doesnt hurt to think that does it??!xx eliza

It's all over guys. Tuesday night I had to be rushed to the emergency room for a D & C. I started hemorrhaging badly all of a sudden. To say it was a traumatic experience would be an understatement.

Thanks for the support you gave through this experience.

    Here I Go Again

My LMP was June 24 which puts me about 5w3d. I went for a scan yesterday(at 5w2d). There was a gestational sac measuring 2 cm but no yolk sac. My doctor said that a yolk sac should have been visible because of the size of the gestational sac. He tells me to prepare for yet another miscarriage but wants to see me in 10 days for a followup scan.

Is there still hope everything is fine?
