Like a Dentist once said to me you can't grow another tooth so why not do all you can to save it, and it was on the side i mainly prefer to chew on so it was worth the investment$$ in the long run ... so i had a root canal done (mine took 3 visits & my appts were after i'd finish work to suit me) ...
I did need to get it repaired (the top bit redone of the tooth) about 10years later by another Dentist but all is good now
i got in to the dentist the day after i posted and i am getting a crown + crown extension(cos there isnt alot of the tooth left).
although i was just talking to DH about the gold one and it is a possibility... its an investment(like yours lorelle) and if my kids get desperate for money when im dead they can dig me up...
