But before I read your post I was definitely thinking FILL! My mouth is fill at all costs - my wisdom teeth were impacted (and removed surgicall, I can tell you about that and it will make having your wisdom teeth pulled in the chair seem like a picnic!), and I had four pre-molars pulled to create room in my mouth and then braces. I've got one molar going a bit dodgy and if it needs the filling replaced again we are looking at root canal - but for me the loss of a molar would be significant given the lack of others!
Anyway, I may have only been 15 at the time, but having those molars pulled for my braces... well, it hurt. I won't lie. It was bloody hard work for the dentist, but you won't feel much other than pulling and tugging. The upper ones were easier to cope with than the lower ones because your lower jaw tends to move around a bit as the dentist pulls. Afterwards - I'd suggest some good pain meds. Panadol isn't likely to be enough, but it's probably only about a week or so before they heal up and you'll be fine. My four were done two at a time - one side of the mouth each time, a week apart. By the time the second side was done I was pretty ok to eat on the first side again.
