it should be on the VTAC website what the date is. The you just need to log onto VTAC and you will get them, although they post a letter out to you too.
Like Traveller said, it's really important that you read the question and answers carefully. I know that should be a given, but most of the questions have 2 answers that are quite similar. I did it at the end of 2008 and that's the thing that sticks out the most in my memory.
And try to train doing things like sudoku or logic puzzles. There were quite a few logic type puzzles when I sat it so they will get you thinking in the right way.
The real test is much the same as the sample test. Go carefully through the questions and try to pinpoint why you got them wrong. The concentrate on those aspects of the test for further study. A lot of people do poorly on their first attempt at the sample test and go on to get good scores on the final exam so try not to get too disheartened.
Well I've done a couple more numerical reasoning tests and lowest score was 77% - lowest was 95% for the verbal ones I did at the same time so figuring that the stat test comprises both I should be alright. Getting nervous now - it's in a week!
Well I just got back from doing the STAT test. My brain is fried! Lol. I found it more difficult than the practice questions, that's for sure. I really hope I did okay. There were a few Q's where I just really had no clue. Managed to get through the 70 q's with about 3 minutes to spare.
