Yeah, used to be you have to have specialised reading software. I worked for a company years ago (left just prior to having Natty so lets say 4 years) and the software was still pretty ordinary. There were loads of corrections to do after the reader "read" the PDF or text on paper. I don't think there's an easier way than what you're doing, but as I said I haven't had to do it for 4 years which is a long time in technology-land. GL!
