Ok, Question ... I got a couple of pocket nappies (in the intro pack I got) ... do I wash the insets and boosters etc before use as well?

This is all new to me (but still exciting nonetheless!!)

Mel - I'm sure you've had HEAPS more fluffy mail than me!!!! LOL!! I should be the one getting jealous!! PMSL!

MM - definitely wash the inserts first. What kind did you get? if they are hemp or bamboo they take a couple of washes to be more absorbent - microfibre only needs one wash to get rid of manufacturing residue on it.

A couple are bamboo, but most are microfibre ... cool, I'll wash them tonight to hang out first thing in the morning, so they get the most out of the day (like todays lot did LOL!)

Microfibre doesn't take very long to dry - maybe an hour in the sun??

yeah, but I'll pre wash the nappies too! We have microfibre socks for our H2O steam mop! LOL!

ETA Besides, some idiot "planted" our clothesline under a tree so it doesn't get a heck of a lot of sun ... hence I love the days where we have hot breezes!

If they are pocket nappies like BumG's - they are nearly dry when you take them out from the last spin.

I luuuurve pockets for that reason

BumG, baby kanga, haute ... the "one of each OSFA" from nappy bucket - and I let them pick the colours, which I am very happy with their selection, they really suit my boys!!

SOOOO CAN'T WAIT to put them in cloth!!! Don't think I'll be able to keep my hands of the camera with each nappy change LOL!

And Bugger, it's come over all misty/foggy Come on Mountains, it's spring not winter! And after such a lovely day - it better clear up by tomorrow!
