Was it the eggplant or the sea salt?

I'm going to go with eggplant, I've never heard of sea salt causing an allergic reaction.


ETA: Well I googled and hey, did you know sea salt can have some 'marine' residuals, which can cause a reaction if someone is allergic to shellfish. I didn't! So I think it'd be worth looking into it more, maybe mention it to your dr if you are seeing one about the allergies. Has he ever had eggplant before? If he hasn't had eggplant and he has had sea salt with no reaction, I'd still be going eggplant, although if it was over-salted... Hmmm, dunno. I'm no help
