ive just empied my camers for today and i have some nice ones so will put them up tonight when dd goes to bed.tonight im putting a few up cause I CAN

and cause i cant choose just one iykwim giggles ... its a spesial day

Barney, do you have picasa? You can download it for free. There is a collage option that I like to use for putting all my photos together that don't make the 365 project.

no i dont hun but i will download it rite now and have a play,thank you very much for the tip,i love dabbling in things and i love my photos and montages so im going to look mwah to you

Didn't get a pic today, DD1 was playing with the camera and flattened the battery and DP actually had the day off for once and asked to do things as a family, we did oms gardening, mowed the lawns and had a nice BBQ together.
I will get a pic tomorrow as a fill in... i had the perfect opportunity tonight and no camera to take it, was my girls on the swings, swinging in time - going BIG as DD1 says and the biggest smiles on their faces.. i think Lulu would have loved it

once again I can't decide which pic to upload. So I stick 'em all on FB and mull it over. I keep asking DH's opinion, but i think he selects based purely on sentiment for his children and not on any kinda creative criteria at all lol. Aaarrgh decisions!

ZF - oh such a PITA about the flat battery!

And I'm a little late, but i'm another one with no fancy equipment. I nearly didn't do 365 cos I thought I didn't "qualify" but came to my senses and realised creativity is in the eye of the beholder, not the wallet

Well done hun, i think looking at 365 it's a great way of not only growing as a 'photographer' but being able to look back over the year and realise what you've accomplished, both in life and in taking pics

Am about to charge the battery now, then going for a walk with Kate07 if the girls are lucky we might stop at the fire station and see the trucks si would be nice to get some pics.

i just finaly figured out how to edit the dates on the 365 page

how i didnt see that befor is beyond me! seems "someone" (im going with df

) set the date to last year the other day, so i was a day ahead yet a year behind! i might have a look at some of those picture editing things to... see if i can bring back my creative bit that died long ago!!!

haha im just the same for me its about my memories not the camera and the equtment

you so keep going chicky babe i tried to download picaso last night and nearly blew me computer up pmsl i have bloody photos going everywhere i asked it to upload from my computer soooo off it went uploading 15.000 photos and i couldnt stop the stupid thing rofl oh i tell ya what im sticken with what i know lol.

I have to learn how to use GIMP.. maybe i should find an online tutorial for it... anyone else use it and know HOW to apply the great affects

Barney, do you have an external hard drive to back up your photos? That's a lot of photos if something was to happen to your computer.

ZF, I've downloaded GIMP and played with it a wee bit but didn't find it easy to use. I've been using picnik and picasa.

Gimp can seem confusing at first but once you understand some of the concepts it gets a lot easier to manipulate. There are tutorials for starting out on the gimp site that you should have downloaded from, under documentation.

I'm about to add a photo for yesterday. I just wanted to say though, that I am not doing the 365 challenge for improving my photography skills, although that might be a bonus. I'm doing it for posterity and to capture some moments over 2011, and practically all my photos will be on my iPhone camera. I like my DSLR but a lot of my "snapshots" are just on my phone. I just wanted to put it out there, cause I know some people are feeling like they have to take a fantastic, award-winning photo every day - that's certainly not my motivation and I won't be winning any awards
