If i had to ask for another they would have sent it back and it's over a weeks wait, they wont just replace it, if it gets to Apple and there is no fault i can be charged for the service fee.
will see how we go, am restoring what was backed up on the PC, not sure how much i will get back, not sure if my pics were saved.

I just booked myself into Angie Baxters 'Love Your Camera' course - she is travelling around Australia doing 1 day workshops, I CANT WAIT!!! I have been waiting for her to come back to Adelaide since I got my camera back in Sept. OMIGOD I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED, I use auto way to much and I need the confidence (and skill) to use manual, this will teach me (among a million other things)

MN, That's awesome. Looks like a good day. I checked out the Sydney day and it clashes with something I've already booked in for. I'll have to keep an eye out for the next round.

ZF, that your phone is back you might have lost some photos. I hope it's free from dramas from now on.

Today's photo was bitter sweet. Sad my girl is no longer with us, but happy that she was with us.

Just want to say congrats to everyone who started on Jan 1, for making it to month 2!! Well done us!
I'm loving everyones photos, and I'm making more of an effort to comment when I see a photo instead of leaving it for later, as I often don't make it back. And I've noticed now that we have a whole month behind us a new button has popped up on the side, flashback.. seems it is there to just pick a random photo from a previous month.

Has anyone else noticed any kind of theme with pics you've 'faved'? Now I've got a few faved, most of them kind of 'go together' if you know what I mean.. lots of darkish, high contrast, strong colours and backgrounds, bold images in mine

Bec, I can't believe a whole month has gone by. It's been a good distraction from TTC'ing TWWs.

I've noticed the flashback on the side and thought it was connected to FB, Blogging etc... Those icons popped up when I clicked on Flashback. I'll have to try tomorrow.

In terms of fav'ing a photo, I have access to 365 at work (the only social network site, it must not have popped up on the firewall) but I can't comment, only Fav. So I Fav, cause I really like it and hope to come home and comment but that doesn't always happen. I've averaged two Fav's per day. I'm on the phone so I can't look for a pattern but I'll do that later. Sometimes I Fav so I can refer to the manual settings used on a pic and use that to improve my skills.

Just uploaded yesterdays and todays. I was lucky with todays pic - noticed some dragonflys doing their thang on the pond and managed to get a few shots. I soooo wish I had a macro lens!

i just got my slr before christmas
during the nikon cashback promo....

i whined and suggested to dh for about 6 months before he went and bought it... he fibbed and told me i couldnt haveit then went and got it as a surprise ;0

Clover, have you had a look around for a 2nd hand SLR? eBay is usually quite good for the bodies and lenses. I reckon you might be able to find a 400d as it's an entry level SLR and most ppl upgrade from this at some stage.

That's a good suggestion about the 400d - I've got the 450d and love it.

I got in early with my photo today - Tilly is suddenly feeling a lot better, so her and I wandered down to the park before the heat of the day kicked in. i was hoping to take a picture of the commuters getting on the ferry, but they didn't come out too well. I couldn't resist making like a tourist and snapping a photo of the hazy harbour while I was there though.

My neon heart made the pop page today - yay!

I always thought the 400, 450 and 500d were better than the 1000d? I have a 1000d and a friend of a friend has the 500 and was being all ... Superior oO;
Wonder what kinda lens he uses... cos lens makes a massive difference in quality as well...

Mines being a pain lately. I dunno what's up with it but the pictures aren't as crisp as they once were. I've lost count how many times I've taken it to be cleaned. Anyone got any ideas?

ETA.. Wahyu has fanc-cay lenses! :P
