Oh yeah, those fireworks that are regular are down on the harbour. I was down there for dinner and dessert in November. Something about the Lights of Sydney.

I was closer to home. Only go into the city if necessary.
Yep, I went one year and it was good but it was awful getting home... wouldn't have done it with a littlie in tow... not til she's a bit bigger anyway.

You lot can seriously talk! I'm not even going to attempt to keep up, but I have been checking out what people are doing.

Here's my entry for the WWYD2 comp - I went surreal. For a change.

All the shots I took today were crap. Apart from a really cute one of my DD being patted on the bum by our friend's baby, which really had only cuteness in its favour, there was nothing compositionally interesting about it. I think I do better work when I'm not thinking about it so much. When I try to compose a shot, rather than just shooting intuitively, I over think and end up with really dull shots.

    Off to bed now...

Well I missed the fireworks tonight We were supposed to go to MIL's as she lives near the river and we were going to watch them from there but she's sick so we couldn't go. We just had a quiet BBQ at home so took a photo of DH cooking the snags

I've just been looking at the WWYD! Great photos girls! I might give that a shot. Tomorrow, I'm going to try and do my YOU picture.

Took some sunset photo's with the proper thingy on my camera. Will put them on facebook, since I already did yesterdays photo.

ZF - if you look back through my photo's on my fb page (either one, lol), all my photo's from 08, 09 & most of '10 were taken on my phone. I had a nokia N95. It was 5.0MP, the one I have now is only 3MP & it sucks

Mine still can come out quite fuzzy but i just have to try and fiddle a bit
I want my cousin to start doing the 365, she has some amazing photos, she basically uses picnik and photoshop every now and then for her editing... i might give picnik and go on one of my next shots

ZF picnik is great. So quick and easy.

Once I've selected an editing option I've started playing with the percentages to get varying affects. Like the WWYD project I chose tint, made it a purple colour and increased or decreased the settings. It added a different dimension to the photo.

Thats what I did with my sunset photo. Played with the tint & warmth in windows photo editer. Thats how it came out darker purple than it actually was.
I change to B&W etc in there too.

I like picnik, but there is so much on GIMP I'm working out! My second toolbar closed though (the one on the right) & I have no idea how to open it again...

DarkDreamer - You're on new faces. with your 'you' photo. Clickity click

Do you think it's cheating if I use the photo I took the other day (saturday I think) for my 'You' one? I don't know what else to do to represent me.
