ok, done!
ZF, you gave my brain the biggest work out it has had in a LONG time!!! but i think i finaly got it! befor kids, there was 3 things "important" to me, and since i no longer drink, putting a bottle of jb in there would have made an exy shot!! i forgot how good the pastels smelt untill i opened the tin tonight, ahh its been to long, should try pick that back up!
i also added one i took of the kids yesterday so i think im caught up!

loving the shots! they keep getting better

Ok, I did my 'YOU' photo today, keep in mind that my blog is all about my DS - so basically I set the camera up on continuous shoot, gave it to DS (21 months) and hoped he pointed it at me - he did in a 'part of my face chopped off' kinda way

Here it is

Anyway writing the accompanying blurb made me think about me - as me, not a Mum, so good one ZF, I had a little reconnection moment with myself without the Mummy title attached

MummyNaomi... no I mean... Naomi - you made me think! I love the way you did your shot too.
So I'd put up my cycling angry as a "you" shot, but reading your post I thought, well it's really NOT me, and it's not what i want to be. So back to the drawing board and this is closer to my "you"... I love the fantasy genre, fairies, wings, green - it's all very "me" and not mummy-me either.
ZF - I'm jumping the gun a bit here... but really really so very YAY for you

I am loving everyones YOU pics, i haven't had a chance to take a pic today, the memory card wasn't in my phone so i might just try and make up for it tomorrow.

BUT DP surprised me tonight by coming home with an iPhone 4.. he upgraded his business plan and got me a little present

So i will have a new phone camera once i get a sim card and am hoping i can get some decent pics while i wait for my batteries

I just love love love mine

Tali & Jewel - my borders are lazy lol. I'm using an app on the iPHone called hipstamatic. It's a 'take' on a cult classic camera (from the 80's i think?) which had these kinda effects... so it takes all pics square & depending on the "lens" and "film" you select, you get different effects. My fave selection gives the rough-edged film (the border) and the blues/greens/romantic/dark kinda feel (lens). So it's really nothing else that I'm doing, once i"ve selected what I want, the pic comes out like that. One of these days I'll shop for a few more lens/film combos cos it's sooo much fun. I don't do any post processing. The only thing is that some shots come out looking awful so i tend to take HEAPS! And ZF, there's a free app called instagram which i've downloaded but haven't played with yet, I gather it's simliar to the hipstamatic (or as a friend of mine called it, the hispatanic

).

Phew... i was thinking OMG she knows something i don't

I am thinking i might try and get a pic of maybe the quad bike in the paddock, near the creek, maybe with my gumboots and a good book on it or something for my ME.

reminds me our dam has some great green moss etc on it now, looks gorgeous around dusk, might have to go try out my iPhone tomorrow... ohhh MY iPhone
