Howdy everyone, how are we all going?
I am catching up by putting in some pics i have on my phone. haven't really been using my camera as it has a scratch on the lense and is playing up a bit, i use it every now and then but not much
I want to win tatts so i can go buy a proper camera

Hi. I'm going okay, I guess. Kinda struggling for ideas of what to take photos of but I'm still managing to get at least a photo a day.

I'm totally behind in the uploading deal. Oopsie. I'll get there... one day. :P

I was doing that but today I thought stuff it. I just wanna make a start to uploading this months one and not be back in July still.
I'll probably get half way through this month and get lazy with the uploads again.

SOOOOOOO today i went to Clive Peeters closing down sale and bought myself a new camera

Sony Cybershot DSC-W570
16.1MP, 5x OZ, 25mm Wide Angle Lens

So it's basically DOUBLE the MP of my old CS.
It's not the lovely HUGE DSLR i'd like but i've resigned myself to the fact that just isn't going to happen, the best part this beauty is normally $250 and i got her for $174!

I am so excited, also picked up a Lumix S1 for MIL for her b'day tomorrow for get this $88. she doesn't need anything special but $88 with 12.1MP and 4x OZ who can complain.. thats better than my old CS and half the price.

I was so excited to have finally caught up with my uploading the other day. I'm 3 days behind now but that's only small compared to the month I was before. LOL!!!

I am borrowing a camera from MIL that never gets used to try and learn a bit about using all the settings properly and start taking some awesome photos! I am already following 1 or 2 of you, hope you don't mind

I had a real crisis of continuation tonight. I was so seriously thinking of giving my 365 project up. I felt I was doing it for the wrong reasons, and it's just another chore right now.

Anyone else struggling with that?

Yes, I agree with you belfie, I'm just about still going but some days it definitely feels like a chore. I know it's a bit lame, but i think that when we were all on there commenting on each others pics all the time i was a bit more motivated. I don't know if that's something i should be admitting though... I'm sure you're supposed to do these things for yourself and all that! But having positive feedback does help on the motivation front When I was in Sydney I felt like i had coutless subjects too, whereas here in remotest deepest darkest Hampshire I have to look for my shots a bit more. And I've also started doing the photography institute diploma, so I often feel that my photography time should be spent on that, or photos for my blog which one day might actually have the capacity to make me some money. Sigh!

Feeling like a chore lately too. I was doing okay a couple of weeks ago but then I've got a lot more on my mind at the moment. Anyways, I'm hoping catching up on my uploading and getting on top of that little aspect of things might help, and one less thing to think about... right?

Oh I know exactly what you mean! That's what I was feeling too! So I felt I was doing it for the wrong reasons if it is not for my own creativity but rather for praise & feedback. And while DH is sick he's really not taking much interest. But intriguingly when I said I was stopping, he got quite het up. So I've just done a big catch-up lol. I think it also pee's me off when friends say "oh I liked that pic on fb" and I think couldn't you comment? click "like"? It's not that hard! I will also confess that when I see a shot has been viewed many times but there are no comments at all, it is rather dispiriting! But DH when he was encouraging me was saying that we'll make a wonderful book of the shots and love looking at them over the years - and that is more important. Which is probably true, but it's sometimes hard to remember that late at night when you're catching up lots of pics!

But when I read what you said it made me realise that we all need some encouragement, especially now we've been going for a while. So I'm going to make more effort to comment on both your shots - cos really we should be so proud of ourselves for getting this far.

I felt really sad when the 365 told me they'd be deactivating my account. I reeeeeeally wanted to do it, but life was in the way! DS didn't want the camera in his face, dd didn't care either way, but creatively, I wasn't feeling it either.

Hopefully everyone else can dig down and find their 'thing' again.... And maybe by the new year, we can all start a new project.

Belfie - your book sounds like a great idea! I keep meaning to upload my 365 to flickr every day too so that it'll stay forever, but I always forget! I'd love to make a photobook, with the captions too. And, yes, I will also make an effort with the bb-ers who are still going on the 365 project

Yules - Oooh, I am so excited to have a follower! I just realised that I'm possibly not allowed to actually post the link here... so I'm going back to delete it now. I'm at a complete standstill on my PI work... as you probably know from my blog, my Gran collapsed at the weekend and everything has pretty much been on hold since then. I need to get back into it though. I'm 'paused' halfway through the assignment for module 2. How are you doing/ You must be semi-pro by now??!!
