Question All those knowledgable with Photoshop.

I want to learn how to only have colour in certain parts of a picture... but I have played around for weeks and weeks and I have no blooming idea how.

    Can someone help?

Maybe either try to explain or point me in the direction of a website with useful guides/instructions?

I figure it can't be too hard as I see photos like it all the time, but i still haven't worked it out!!

    TIA.

Open your picture then copy it, so ctrl a (select all), ctrl c (copy), ctrl n (new), enter, ctrl v (paste). Change that new one into B&W. Then copy & paste it over top of the coloured one. Use the erase tool to remove the B&W parts where you want the colour to be seen. It can be really fiddly, but it looks very cool once it's done. I usually tweak the contrast on the B&W as well, to make it even more dramatic.
