Cake Smash

Hi ladies.. whats a cake smash?
Hope this isn't a silly question... lol

The photo's I have seen had an all white background and some standard shots of the kids and mum mucking around and posing and then the photographer put a green cake (I think that was the colour but it certainly contrasted with the background) and let the kids at it. As you can imagine a 3 kids under 5 had lot's of fun lol but the photos are great.

If you google you find some great examples but basically you put a child and a cake together and let him/her go nutso
