    Question polarized camera lenses

    how much are these generally??

    You mean filters??
    I have a circular polarising filter for my lens. I don't think it was that expensive, maybe $30.
    Hmm...actually I can't remember, lol.

    ETA- ok, just googled, I think it was more like $50

    Oh righto, well just look on the side of the lens and see what size (i.e. mine is 52mm) and get that sized filter. But you prob know what camera he has anyway so they should be able to give you the right size.

    They do add a bit of length to your lens, so if you've got a wide lens then it's worth stepping up a size in the filter and getting a step-down adaptor. That way you don't lose field of vision

    I love our polarised filter....I think ours was around $40 from memory.

    Filters are good! About $40 - $80 depending on the diameter of the lens and worth every penny the day it saves your lens from getting scratched, as well as helping your photos a tad.

    I have skylight because it slightly warms skin tones. I also have a dark one but I don't use it very often because I've learned if it's harsh enough to need it then the photos look awful

    i ended up getting a polarised lense, was $65!
