Can you place it flat on a white background then take a photo with a polarising filter (to eliminate shine)?
Alternatively if you take it to a professional photography lab they should be able to make some good prints for you.
Silly me forgot to ask for proper pics of our 12week scan, and all we have are x-ray pics. Can anyone give me some tips on taking photos of them with the camera?
I tried against the window but ended up getting everything else in the background through the clear bits in the film (bugger!). And every other shot I have done gets background bits and blurs the u/s.
I also have a flat bed scanner but like I thought, that didn't work at all!

I held it up to the light but away from the window.. I set it p so the light was shinging behind it but not with the glare.. it justtakes patience to get it right...

If you use the scanner, dont put the lid down
I didnt ask for pics of my scans either, thats how I beat it!
Sarah, you've saved the day... I've tried everything with my camera, but it just didn't work! I knew there was a scanner trick... I just couldn't work out what!
Those pics will be up shortly!
agh I wish i had known the scanner trick.. would have saved a lot of time lol..
Looking forward to seeing the pics
nic... lol, i tried so many different angles and settings on my camera, but nothing seemed to work... its probably just me though, I'm not the worlds most adept photographer!

lol.. I had dh helping me out tho.. One of us held it up at all different angles ect lol..
Yeah, we did ours on the scanner, and found shining a light over it whilst it was scanning did the trick. We had a fluorescent lamp that we used.
Ok, scanning has done the trick, I have some great photos up now in the BB gallery (including a few of Bubble mooning the camera... have a look tell me pink or blue? lol!) 12w4d Ultrasound pics
I've only put a few in the BB gallery, and the rest are on my totsite in my sig![]()
