I had a moderate hearing loss that required a hearing aid in my left ear for a a couple of years when I was around 10. But now my hearing is perfect (apparently... I think I've just learnt to pass the test cause I still hear a lot less than other people!). Not being at all an expert on your daughters situation I would still recommend you learn Auslan as a family. It can be SO tiring trying to understand what everyone's saying sometimes and if you could all sign on her 'down' or 'tired' days it would probably mean so much.
