Great news, but Oh boy, can we relate to your nightmare about the docs trying to replace that IV line. And why do those extra stressful things tend to happen in the middle of the night? I felt teary at the memories it brought back. It's great that there was a good alternative (codeine) available? And isn't it great not to have any IV lines to get tangled in?!

You're being so controlled over your response to Jessalyn's yellow poo, and yep, there's probably good reason to hang back a bit before punching the air about it. . . BUT I still reckon it's VERY exciting! Is the surgical team saying they're pleased about it?

Good on you - so many hoops jumped through already. Here's hoping for a speedy return to your own bed at home.
