I thought i would tell you my story i was diognised with double reflux kidneys grade 5 when i was 2 years old (im 36 now) by the time i had surgury both my kidneys had been scared my left kidney was the worst. I have had many checkups every year and have only had a few infections i also test at home. iv'e also gone on to have 3 beautiful girls who have all been tested but are all fine. The only time i have been really affected was after having my second daughter by cesar as infection was introduced into my body was on iv antibiotics then stayed on them orally for 6 months. Ive also made a connection of getting minor infections when i get my period the doctors cant make a connection but now im on depo to stop my period i have no infections. I make sure i eat healthy food excersize and dont drink alcohol. I just wanted to let you know that as awful as it can be with a little bit of precaution they will grow up happy and healthy.
