its soo hard when you know what is ahead
my DS has had 3 ops and i knew what was installed before we started and just like you i was worried sick
you know he is in the best care- you just feel bad as you know what is ahead- but you know what kids are like and they take it in their stride
he is a strong boy and he will be strong through this as well
take care of you and him and hugs to you all

It makes a big difference when you grow up not knowing anything else - what seems really horrid to you becomes just a part of life (annoying, sore and would be better if it didn't have to happen) for Kane.

    Hope it all goes smoothly
    hugs

Hi purplemumma, good luck with Kane`s operation, you know they are really tough at this age and brave, stay strong for him, once all of this is over you will never look back, when you tell him all the stories when he gets older he will wonder what all the fuss was about, but we can`t help to worry,i know, our son was terminally sick for eight year(he`s in Heaven now). All the very best to you and your family Hun,

    Thanks ladies....

I hate breaking down in front of the kids, but in here they dont know...

I know I'll cope, but when I think about it I get scared and feel all really insecure that things wont go ok....

The thought he wont come back to me after being put under is terrifying...

Jodie, I will be thinking of you hun. I can only imagine how hard this is for you. Kane is such a strong little man and has done so well with everything so far. I am sure he will do so again hun. I wish you all the very best.

try not to imagine the worst (I know that's easier said than done).
He will come back to you and he will bounce back in no time flat.
