its soo hard when you know what is ahead
my DS has had 3 ops and i knew what was installed before we started and just like you i was worried sick
you know he is in the best care- you just feel bad as you know what is ahead- but you know what kids are like and they take it in their stride
he is a strong boy and he will be strong through this as well

It makes a big difference when you grow up not knowing anything else - what seems really horrid to you becomes just a part of life (annoying, sore and would be better if it didn't have to happen) for Kane.

Hi purplemumma,good luck with Kane`s operation,you know they are really tough at this age and brave,stay strong for him,once all of this is over you will never look back,when you tell him all the stories when he gets older he will wonder what all the fuss was about,but we can`t help to worry,i know,our son was terminally sick for eight year(he`s in Heaven now). I know I'll cope, but when I think about it I get scared and feel all really insecure that things wont go ok....

The thought he wont come back to me after being put under is terrifying...
