OOOH Tali, that would infuriate me. I have had people question our method but not doubt it, well not openly anyway. I love to get out the baby led weaning book and show them the pictures and I LOVE LOVE LOVE saying "apparently it means there is less chance she will be a fussy eater" as so many of our friends have kids fussy with food.

Studymum that would have freaked me out!! DD is no where near eating whole plums at the moment but she is loving her quarter oranges, she ate 3 this morning.

DD is starting daycare this week and I've been thinking - I'm not going to mention we are doing BLS, I'm just going to provide the BLS food as per normal and see if they say anything to me................what do you think???

I feel the same about my DD Sue hehe, god they are so smart and beautiful arent they I love BLS its just he way to go, they learn so much from doing it, its fun, easy to do, i just love watching them pick what they want , i love how DD eats grapes, and any fruit with skin she eats the inside and spits the skin hehe

hi all! We're back in here again Eli is 7 months now and he's just started on BLS a few weeks ago. We did mushed food to begin with for health reasons. He needed to gain weight or we were off to the hospital so I started feeding him yogurt in the mornings and it worked, he's back on the chart and gaining not loosing

Anyways! He's had almost everything you can think of, but by far his favourite is pumpkin, and orange! He looooooves orange.

Starangelk - I'd tell them she feeds herself, otherwise they may try to put food in her mouth.

Do I know you? You seem so familiar...

DS had vegemite on toast and some strawberry yoghurt this morning, nom nom!

I'm managing to convert a few friends to BLS who have indicated that they're finding spoon-feeding farex to be stressful. Although I'm sure most of my MG think I'm a hippy.
