Ah to both of you. They will get there in the end. I'm sure one day soon it will all just fall into place and you'll forget the early days while they eat non-stop. I found DD's eating would make a huge improvement then plateau or even fall back a bit for a while before another huge leap.
We've just come across another interesting phase with DD - she's putting whatever we offer into her mouth having a good old chew on it then spitting it out, raspberry-blowing style. She's not doing it much with her old favourites, more for foods she's previously avoided. I'm not sure if she's doing it because we've just taught her to spit for teeth-brushing, or because she has a sore throat, or something else entirely. DH thinks she's gust doing it for attention, but I don't. I'm just ignoring it and hoping she'll stop soon! Anyone got any ideas or stories of similar situation that just miraculously improved over night?!
