    Baby Girl Names - Help?

    So middle name needs to be 'Sue' there is a long winded story (but very sentimental) behind it.

    I have a list on my phone that i look at every now and then and add/ delete names from it constantly. Im liking really girly names, any ideas?

    So far we're throwing around:

    * Jasmine
    * Chloe
    * Mikayla - DP not too keen
    * Kayla - One name DP actually suggested, i do have a friend by this name. Hardly ever see her tho, only at weddings etc
    * Laila - DPs suggestion, i didnt like it but its growing on me
    * Kyla

    I love Chloe as well as Mikayla. I have a friend whose DD is a Mikella which is a bit of a different spin on Mikayla.

    Jasmine is very pretty, always reminds me of the flower.

    I think those names go well with Sue.

    What about
    - Olivia
    - Josephine
    - Mia
    - Lucy

    Chloe Sue sounds nice... Olivia Sue rolls quite well off the tounge too...

    Hmmm, I have been no help at all have I??

    I love Mia but a good friend has a daughter Mia. DP is getting annoyed because every name he comes up with i have a family member or a friend or a friends child with the name lol

    To be fair to your DH on this one.... if it's a name in the top 20 (and you can google to find out if it is) then she'll be surrounded by other kids with this name for her whole life anyway, so it doesn't really matter if you already know one.

    One of my bikes is called Laila. I don't know why, but the name just symbolises freedom and wind in my hair. It's my favourite.

    I don't think that's the real meaning, it's just the image that it conjures up in my head.

    The true meaning is: "as intoxicating as wine" Works for me!

    I like Kayla and Laila.

    I have an Aunty Michaela, so I couldn't use Mikayla or Kayla (which DH and I both liked) and DH didn't like Layla .

    I have always liked Jasmine, I think it is really pretty but I have known so many little girls named Jasmine (I worked in childcare for many years) so it was to popular for me, although I don't think that there are as many around these days.

    Good luck in choosing, how exciting.

    Ammaki - Leila is a cute name - our neighbours daughter has that name, so its off our list lol... but I am sure it would have made the top 10!

    we have come down to the following 7 name combinations.... not that it makes it any easier, but at least we agree on these ones so far.

    ISLA PAIGE
    JASMYNE LIA
    ISLA JASMYNE
    ISLA ZOE
    ZOE ISLA
    CHLOE ELISE
    CHLOE MIA
