I am thinking about changing DD2's name.We were choosing out of 2 and I think we chose the wrong name.
I understand it. As much as I love DD2's name, part of me wants to change it to our other choice. I researched the name and at the time it was not common, but obviously a whole bunch of other mums were thinking just like me and there are a heap now. I swore I would never have a top 10 name and now I have one (well it is in this area). Just thankful I went for the full name, as we now need to use it rather than the nickname (which is the popular one).

I am annoyed that everyone spells DS2's name wrong. Family and friends. It bugs me enough to change it - but DH says we got it right, and everyone else is wrong.
Whilst I think a complete name change would be unusual, now that i've read this thread, it makes sense for a lot of people.
DH has decided he doesn't like DD2 's name. lol We are thinking of other names, just to see. I don't see us changing it realistically though.
thats us currently! tho i havent, and wont put her on medicare untill we agree on one. its not the first time its happened either, ds2 was 'baby' for almost 2 months, ui had to express the birth certificate app off as it was very close to the 60 day limit! we are close to having a name now tho, were sitting on 5 we both like.
Df's mum changed his nam when he was a bub, there was a extra middle name added, last name changed from his dads to his mums and his first name switched to something simmilar but difrent. he has hated the fact she done that and always used his original names, even his licence is in the first birth cert's names.
