I would have loved to use the name Byron for DS2, but it clashes with our surname LOL!

The boys name I would have used for DD is Kai.

I also would have loved the opportunity to use the girls name Isla.

Never mind! Maybe I'll save those names for a pet .

For us, I'm just really sad I'll never have a Titus. It's my favourite name, Silas was next best (and I do love that name too!) I can't even think to change the spelling so I like it. Taitus, Thaitus, Tytus...they don't look as good to me.

Stupid culture with Tit us, or Tight arse. I don't think I could do that, I usually don't care about names that someone 'might' be teased about, but the likelihood just seems too high with Titus.

And i really liked the name Silas for a boy, but again, DH just looked at me like i was a crazy lady lol.

luckily we have agreement on the name either way now...although i can always dream lol!

I used to love Maeve. It was all I wanted to call DD....but now as it doesn't look like I will have any more, the need to use it has lessened....actually I didn't even ask if we could use it for DS....

I love Japanese names and my favourite boys' name has long been Hiro, which would have sounded a bit silly on a strawberry-blond, blue eyed, decidedly Anglo kid living in a borderline redneck part of the world. And as this is our last kiddo and it looks like she's a girl (or a reticent boy), we won't be having a Hugo now.

And I really love Aine for a girl, but Euan and Aine together are too similar in both spelling and pronunciation. Although, now I see them written together I kind of like it. I'd like to go with another Gaelic name for this one, but a) I'm a stickler for traditional spellings, but b) some Gaelic names spelled traditionally are a long way from being phonetic and can be really hard to get right.

We had Aine picked for a girl too but thought we may have to spell it as it sounds Anya we may hopefully still use it
