Soooo, I'm currently 29 weeks pregnant.

DP and I decided for our own reasons to not find out the little one's gender... And so have been short-listing boys and girls names... which we have decided to keep quiet (don't want anyone judging our name choice beforehand "oh I knew so and so with that name - what a horrible child"! etc etc)

Anyway, last night I found out that after thinking about names for his CAT for two weeks, my little brother has unknowingly used my girl's name. I was pretty upset last night (hormones!), as my mum knew that I had been looking at this letter name... and I had asked that they run the name of the cat by me to make sure it wasn't one I was looking at using....

So what I'm asking is - does it really matter if the baby ends up with the same name as the family cat??
