It looks like everyone kind of agrees on the same I love the fact that when I see her I will be able to choose either as we havent confirmed either way much to the annoyance of everyone lol..Tbh they are lucky we even told them, you know how ppl can be with the old "why would you use that name"? rubbish...

I love Violet as the first name too and I just know my Grandma would be touched. One thing she said to me a few months ago was that she had only just started liking her name and when I asked her why she said "oh I just thought I should have been pretty with a name like Violet"..It really humanised her for me and I realised even our grannies suffered from self esteem issues..It kind of made me think even though there are so many years between us we are essentially the same..Hmmmm I love her
