One thing she said to me a few months ago was that she had only just started liking her name and when I asked her why she said "oh I just thought I should have been pretty with a name like Violet"..It really humanised her for me and I realised even our grannies suffered from self esteem issues..It kind of made me think even though there are so many years between us we are essentially the same..Hmmmm I love her
