Question not weird, but easy to spell.... HELP!!

ok, we have been trying to find a name for some tme now, but cant find one we both like, ive found ones i like, but he hates so there out... last responce i got on the subject was "ive used up all the names i had"

now he has given me some 'rules'
    1. must not be 'wierd' or unusual (aparently ALL the ones i liked fall here)
    2. must be easy to spell (MOST IMPORTANT)

apparently Krystal was hard and he still has trouble spelling because i 'changed' the c to a k on him

so hit me with your Boring easy to spell girls names!!

My DD is Emma - we liked it because it's classic, and simple, and easy to spell!

Other names in my mother's group are Olivia, Ava and Lani (pronounced Larney).

    Maybe...
    Grace
    Anna
    Elizabeth
    Lara

Sorry - I know there's not much there, but DD is destroying some paperwork at my feet, and need to rescue it! Good luck hun!

I don't actually think any of these are boring!!

I tell you what though, our son is Jack. Plain and simple right??? We are constantly asked how to spell it!!!! So never assume that something will be 'easy to spell'. Personally, my name can be worked about 12 different ways!

Easy to spell or only one common spelling?

Kaitlin/katelyn,Caitlin falls into the c/Krystal category, as does

    Michaela
    Jayne
    Madeleine
    Abbey
    Rachael
    Katharine
    Meaghan

They all have multiple popular spellings.

What names is your partner suggesting?

Ones I've only really seen one spelling for

    Emma
    Louise
    Sarah
    Belinda
    Natalie
    Samantha

Sorry - alternate spelling here - I've seen this as Emmah (I used to have a student spelt like this - I didn't get why the H on the end though.

    Yeh, but its not common.
Its not like you'd tell someone your name was Emma and they'd automatically ask how to you spell it, or 'is it with an H'?

My name has 2 really common spellings and I get asked all the time, is it el or ael. And sometimes elle or eal

    What was on his list?
Sounds like this is really stressful for you both but you both need to be involved in the process.

Do you need a middle name too?

aaah the partners rule, I remember those lol almost the same rules as you. But he added had to have double letters in there - go figure lol

I like Emma ad Laura, it goes well with your other kiddies name. HTH
