    Question Help! We're stuck!

I've always loved elegant and pretty girls names, such as Charlotte, Annabelle, Claire, Paige etc

I've come up with a few names which are, in my opinion elegant and pretty yet different...what do you think? I'm dying for an outside opinion since we are keeping the name & sex a secret.

    Eden Rose
    Shyla Rose

    and my husbands favorite... Coral.

(Rose is after my nan and great grandma)

Alrighty...what do & which do you think ladies? Hippie or pretty & elegant? x

    Eden is ok.
    Shyla is not nice.

I don't think any of the mentioned choices of first name are classical. Eden is okish, but more trendy then classical. Shayla is very modern and (not really hippie, more ocka maybe) in my very honest opinion. Coral is very old, but I don't think it's classical.
    Rose however is lovely.

Edith is similar to Eden but more classical and prettier.

Can I be honest? The only one I like is Eden, and I think that is newer, not quite classical. I love Ivy as a classical name.

Eden is pretty common. It's nice, but I wouldn't call it classical. Shyla seems like a made up name to me. I personally don't like it but that doesn't mean others can't

If you like classical, pretty names like those you mentioned, why not use Charlotte, Annabelle etc? They're lovely.

Lol funny you should say that Ausgirl! My cousin (back when we were picking names for my DS) said Shyla sounds like Sheila, which in my opinion is verrrry ocka. That comment stuck with me ever since.

I wouldn't say we are going for classical names, I'd like to think feminine I suppose. well...I hope

IMO, Shyla seems abit bogan, like it's a mix of two other names (sorry)
I like Eden! But Ivy is very pretty too
I like Cora rather than Coral though.
    Sophia is nice too?

I have an Eden so I prefer that one

Shylah was on my list of girls names when pregnant - but I don't really go for classical names...

I just called my little girl Eden Rose! Obviously I love it. Not common here in UK and everyone has said how much they like it.
I do know quite a few boys called Eden though!

I think Eden is pretty and elegant, but not Shyla. As other have mentioned it sounds a bit made up and a bit ocka-ish.
Coral is nice in it's own right but I don't know if elegant is necessarily the word I'd use to describe it IYKWIM.

If you like Coral but you're not sure about it, how about a variation like Coralie, or Coraline?

I like Eden, its very sophisticated and elegant.

Shyla i think is becoming very popular (theres several Shyla's in my DD pre primary year) and i think it fits into a totally different genre to Eden

    Congratulations!! So happy for you!

Eden is nice, but Shyla is a bit porn star for me (google it).

I love Eden rose. Rose is dd3s middle name. It is so totally utterly popular as a middle name, but we loved it. DH wouldn't go for rose as a first name.

So why not have Rose as a first name?

Shayla. I agree with everyone else - sorry
