Some great names in here already!

From your list, I agree that Azarias reminds me of Azaria Chamberlain but that could be my age.

Marcarian sort of reminds me of Mehkelti so I think something a bit less similar would be better.

    Cylan is pretty cool.

Quentin is a favourite name of mine so I love that. Cinco is awesome. Love Zimri.

I'll throw in Zenith- I had it on our list and love it. You've reached the highest point aka the end?

Cylan kind of reminds me of Cylon - the robot creatures from Battlestar Galactica.

    Azarias is lovely

I saw a TV program in which someone was named Septimus and I thought it was very cool. Other great Latin names include Atticus or Terminus (meaning the end, boundary, limit). Osiris has a similar sound.

Ragnorak is the end of the world in Norse mythology.

    Asim meaning limitless in Sanskrit
Orion is another galaxy type name that means boundary, limit
Jupiter is the fifth and largest planet in the solar system. Greek name - Zeus
    Seong is Korean for completed

I went to primary school with an Orion. Very cool name and I haven't heard it used again since then.

Have to admit, Battlestar Galactica was what immediately came to mind when I saw this name written down too. Speaking of which, what about Starbuck for a name. Now he was a pretty cool dude ...

I like Cylan with a hard C, like Ky-lan. It's not really what you're asking but just my 2c worth. Good luck with the baby naming - by the time we got to our third boy we were almost out of inspiration, and he ended up being named after a kids' cartoon racing car ... and it suits him

I wasn't offended, sorry if it came across like I was. I was just saying it's a male name. It means King of the skies.

I'm old too - I think cos I've had it in my head for so long that it doesn't have the same connection any more for me.

Marcarian and Mehkelti do sound a bit similar I suppose, but no more than Kelti and Sahti I don't think? Mehkelti rarely gets called that anyway, she's just Kelti. Or Kelts.

L & B - we had to google Cylan because I thought it was from battlestar haha! We did toss up Jupiter too because of the fifth thing, but I think its more of a girly sounding name?

Rowellen - yours are.. um.. interesting... bahahahahaha!!!

ETA - oh and Zenith reminds me of Kenneth. Which I don't um, really like... LOL

There were some that weren't overly unique. They are probably not unique enough for you though lol I had Julian on my list - far too normal . I quite like Navin, Farlow & Pollard from my suggestions. Most of the rest are a bit out there for me.

Hey jonah is a pretty "normal" name...... I do like Patrick too, but Offspring ruined that for me.

I liked Keenan too, but we named our boxer Keenan and now I can't use it because even though we no longer have that dog - its our old dog's name LOL

That is true. So is Elisabeth & Jane & Michael

I wouldn't use an old pet's name either.

Paedrag is an different spelling/pronunciation of Patrick. (DH isn't keen on Patrick either, but he thinks it's because I like Patrick Stewart which I do but that isn't the only reason.)

I like Merlot or Grigiot as boy's names. DH was ok with Merlot and and less with what he said as "Grease" but it's Grigio pronounced with a silent io. Then he realised what I was doing when I suggested Gewürztraminer and said no.

Marcarian may well get shortened to Marc, which is still a good name but doesn't fit with your other children's names as much.

If you liked Keenan, what about Quinnian? Has a connection to "five"...

I like Marcarian best now. I think there are good spin off nicknames from it and it's groovy but sort of 'on trend' too, IYKWIM? And I love the constellation connection. Now I can see how it doesn't really compete with Mehkelti then I say go for it
