I need your help to find a girls name...

I need your advice on girls names please!

I have always loved the name Hannah, and would love to use it but I don't think it goes with our surname, Hone. So back to the drawing board.

DS is Ollie, well Oliver, but always just Ollie. So Molly is off the list too

DH really likes Matisse, I think it's really pretty, but does it make you think of the artist? Or that we're trying to be french?

Love to hear your other ideas!

    Thanks

    Thanks ladies,

Feeb, absolutely, let's catch up soon!
Samantha is cute, I really like it, actually I like lots of names on your list but unfortunately they are close friends or relatives. Sammie though is added to the list. I also really like Charlotte (or Charli) but dh thinks it's too popular...

Thanks Rouge, it is actually growing on me now.

HotI, Abby is the other name on my list, love it! Have to convince DH though...

    Thanks everyone! Keep them coming

Well, we're still no closer to deciding.

ds (2.5 years) has decided he wants to call her Bianca. I have no idea where he came up with it, but it sounds so cute the way he says it. I wouldn't have considered it before but now we're seriously thinking about it. I'd love to know where he heard it.

I just wish I could find "the" name.

What do you think of when you hear Bianca? Any other names, normal ish, but not too popular that you can throw in to the mix?

    Thanks again for the help!

Our beautiful baby girl arrived on Friday night, 9th of March.

    She still has no name!

DH is telling everyone it's Matisse and I just don't think it suits her, and the more he tells people the more I don't want to use it. DS is calling her Bianca. I'm too emotional to make a decision now, it's making me sad that she still doesn't have a name.

    Back to the book...

Congratulations on the birth of your precious daughter. Don't feel rushed or pressured to come up with a name. Enjoy your newborn snuggles and getting to know your little one.

FWIW, it took us 6 days to name our second child, and 4 days to name our fourth child.

And I didn't read the entire thread! Oops!! Congrats, hope you had a lovely birth

Don't be sad you haven't named her yet. You'll think of something!
