    Please, can you inspire me?

Well, if bubs turns out to be a boy we're sorted - that name was chosen long ago. But if they turn out to be a girl, I'm not so sure...

At the moment the name we have is Ruby Marguerite.

Now I love Ruby as a name, and pretty much love all girls names ending in an 'ee' sound. But DS's name is Ashley and I can't help but feel like it sounds a bit funny having two kids whose names both end in an 'ee' sound.

The only alternatives I have so far are:
Ella Marguerite (but I know quite a few Ella's)
Lola Marguerite (I'm growing to love Lola, but I don't like my chances of getting DH over the line).

Marguerite is a given for the middle name (it was my Mum's middle name) and our surname sounds like Pecked, but starts with a 'H'. I like traditional type names that can be both cute for a little girl and elegant for a grown woman. Other names I like (but are out for various reasons) are Chloe, Hannah, Holy, Hope, Ivy, Sophie, Phoebe, Lily, Grace...

So please, pretty please, give me some inspiration

Eliza or Stella popping into my head for some reason. I love the name Eliza but it didn't work well with my other daughters name.

I would go with ruby personally, I have a mehkelti and Sahti (both ending in tee) and it's never bothered us and nobody has ever said anything about that. More they just comment about how unusual the names are lol

Personally I love Ruby (so much so that I named one of my DDs Ruby!). I have 2 DDs with 'ee' names (Sophie and Ruby) and no one's ever said a thing. In fact my other DDs are 'ah' names (Sienna and Bella) and I only just realised. If you love it, go for it. I think the harshest name critics are mum and dad FWIW.

I think Ruby & Ashley are different enough that it doesn't matter. If his name was Reuben I might rethink Ruby but otherwise I think it's fine. Ruby is very pretty. I've only met one Ruby & she was just gorgeous.

ETA: FWIW, my brother, sister & I all have names ended in an ee sound.

    Some suggestions:
    Erin
    Isla
    Adele
    Jenna
    Kaylin
    Claire
    Hazel
    Talia
    Milla
    Amelia

    Jasmine
    Estelle/Estella

I dont think it sounds funny having 2 "ee" end sounding names, i wouldnt have even picked up on it if you hadnt mentioned it. I have 5 girls and 2 of mine have "ee" end sound names and they both have "ee" on the end of their names too. They are Ebonee and Serenitee. They dont sound strange together i dont think, so go for what you love, dont settle for something else because of the "ee" reason.

My 2 DSD's have "ah" names. And this babe will too. No one has ever commented on it, and I didn't even realise until we started looking for baby names! If it suits your surname... go for it!!

I freaking love the name Ruby Marguerite. Sounds so feminine and strong. Gorgeous.

I love ruby and I wouldn't be to worried about having 2 with an 'ee' sound. I have 4 nieces and they and Chloe, Chelsie, shelby and phoebe!!!
