    Thanks for the replies - Jenjams - that is exactly what DH said about the swans player - not a bad remidner given we just lived in Sydney for 4.5 yrs
    I really appreciate the thoughts that we should stay with the traditional spelling Tinkerbell

    if u like the name id stick with it ppl will always have name trouble of some sort.

    Its a nice name. We plan to name our 2nd tiger but u've given me a new option

    They have been really surprised at how many people actually know how to pronounce it - If you love it - go with it -

    Its totally up to you how you spell it. I have to spell out all 3 of my kids names, only 1 is different.
    Suggestions though - Tyge, Tygh, Tige
    I do personally like Tygh
    No idea for middle names, sorry.

    I agree, keep it authentic. I have an Anglicised European name which was altered to make it more pronouncible but I wish it was left as the traditional spelling. Think of it as preserving a heritage.
