love norah...
My nan was Mabel Norah and hated her name!! Lol it's so in fashion now she must be laughing in heaven![]()
love norah...
I love it too, both spellings. But I'm an ol' fashioned gal.
Reminds me of norah jones. I don't mind it.
I don't mind it, but I wouldn't use it.
I loved it and kept suggesting it for DD2, but DH kept responding with 'bloody norah!'
I like it because it reminds me of Norah Jones, but I probably wouldn't use it because it reminds me of "Bloody Norah!!"
I'd spell it Nora. I think it looks a bit gentler. Norah looks masculine to me.
Nora Catherine.
Just randomly, I was thinking about the name Nora recently & decided I liked it. I have no idea why I was thinking about that name. Maybe so I could form an opinion just for you
I prefer without the "h" for simplicity.
The only drawback if you ever read Enid Blyton, there was a really annoying character called Nora in some of her books. I can't remember which ones.
First thing that comes to mind is Bloddy Nora the I think Norah jones who has a beautiful voice but not a name I could use.
I'm not sure about Norah but depends on surname I guess.
I like Torah, I know it's similar, but I like it.
I really like itwas on the list for DD2
I like the spelling Nora and Rose as the second name
Love it. For ease of spelling I'd go with Nora. I'm always needing to spell my name and it gets pretty annoying at times. Nora is a bit elegant, slightly unusual and works for a child and an adult.
I once worked with a girl named Noura. She was Lebanese and called everyone habib! So I can't help but think of that!
