How about Seamus?
A neighbour's boy is called Tyne (after the river). Bit different but not weird.
We had Patrick Mackenzie picked out for a boy. Mainly because Mackenzie means "son of the handsome one" (see my sig)
How about Seamus?
Oh no no no sorry I should have put that in the OP. Big fat no to Hamish, Angus or Seamus LOL Sorry they are just wayyyy to scottish for me & it bugs the crap out of me that my Mum suggests them every single time LOL.
Finlay
Finnian
Alasdair
Donald
Moirreach (pronounced Murray)
Owen
Blair
I love Quinn!
DH said about Quinn. Being number 5 & all LOL.
Eamon, Cormac, Eugine, Finian, Keiran, Tristan?
Good Luck
Forget the first name - do you have the J-middle name thing going on for this new lad? How's the hunt for that one going?
Paedrag, Brian, Sean, Caspar... any of those any use?
All your boys' names end in N, is that something you want to continue with?
I like Owen (and i also know brothers Owen and Evan but different spelling)
Oran
Brynn
Eamonn
Ciaran
Timothy
Michael
Brian
Pronounced Neh-Ven, sounds like Kevan.
I've only ever heard of it as E-lunAilean (pronounced E-lun) means "rock" or "nobel" - Gaelic
I know this one is a bit out there, makes me think of the Black vulcan from Star Trek, heheTorquil (pronounced Tor-call) means Thor's helmet - Not sure I like the sound of it in my head but DH would love the meaning.
Another one I thought of was Shae, pronounced Shay, means "Hawklike - graceful, free, courageous", is also Gaelic
We had Irish/Celtic names all picked out for these boys - Liam & Cale (can also be spelt Cael or Kael) but DH has now said no to Cale so it looks like we are now going with Liam & Rhys (although Rhys is Welsh the names still go together).
Good luck with the name, I've found it hard to find boys names I liked.
Stuart/Stewart
Brody, Finnegan, Lachlan....
We are pretty much down to Brody but looking for a celtic middle name.
Boys names suck! LOL especially when I already have 3. Middle name will probably be Jeremy but not 100% yet.
Rhys kinda made it way on the strong possibility list last night. Both DH & I like it. But today I seen a "name tag" with Rhys on it.... I know its silly but you can't get (that I have ever found) any of my kids names on those premade name things & we like that. So Rhys might be too popular for us.
But I really don't think I am a Mum to a Ronan. . . . .
Tinks... OMG @ you suggesting Tadhg! I have a friend who's little boy has that name lol. Fiona, it's pronounced Tige like Tiger but with no r.
I love Keenan...it is my DS2 middle name...I wanted it as his first name but my ex won.
I also really like Cael
i just thought of another one.... Soames. I love this name (heard it on the bbc remake of the Forsyth Saga) but DH hates it
not sure of the origin tho.
