    Siblings with similar sounding names?

My 3rd baby is coming any day now and we have no names organised. We don't know what we're having either.

My first child is Ethan, our second is Naomi, and I'm just wondering, if this one is a boy, would it be best to call them something that has a different end sound to Ethan, or one the same?

Eg: (random names picked for eg, not because I like them)
Ryan, Dylan, Morgan & Ewan all have a similar end sound to Ethan. Reuben (which I am a bit partial too atm) has a longer first sound, so perhaps that makes it a bit different.

Alternatively, we could go for different sounds such as:
Riley, Bailey, Harry, Taylor, isaac etc.

On the girl front, DH is partial to names beginning with "A". He's raised "Ava" but I'm Not sure yet. It sounds too much like the names that are popularising the lists...

    Any thoughts?

I think Ethan and Reuben or Isaac for a sibling are totally fine. (fwiw I have a family member with children named Ethan & Ryan and had NEVER thought it was weird or even similar )
As for girls what about Abigail, Apphia or Adina (im biased on this one ) all lovely biblical names which you seem to be leaning towards

I love all the names you have mentioned. I wouldn't have thought any were similar enough to Ethan to raise an eyebrow except maybe Ewan. My personal pick would be Reuben. I also like Ryan, Riley and Harry. FWIW, if DD had been a boy, we would have Hayden & Evan. Other suggestions
    Rowan
    Carter
    Cooper
    Cameron
    Aaron
    Eamon
    Max

For girls names with A - I'm partial to Amelia or Amelie. I like Ava too.
    Also:
    Anna
    Annika
    Ayrlee
    Arya
    Abby
    Amy

I am useless with name suggestions, but I have a Darcy and a Holly so I don't think any of your names sound samey-samey.

Yes, it's tricky... My DH is even partial to Arwen (girl), and I think it sounds lovely, but would that poor child be scarred for life having a name associated with such a famous movie? Apparently it's of Welsh origin...

I just gave birth last Saturday night to another girl :-) Been mulling over her name all week, but we finally decided to call her Elodie. It's a bit similar in end sound to Naomi, but the beginnings are different enough I feel.
