I haven't been able to get Faolan out of my head since first reading your post. I like it pronounced fallon.

Tallon's not bad. I had a cat named Tallon

I have thought about Loki, but I think with so many Lauchlan's these days I am put off.
My Lachlan goes by Loki (because of the way his is spelt ).

In hindsight I should have just called him Loki because we very rarely (if ever) call him Lachlan..

My DS2 is Caelan (pronounced Kay-lan). There are very few of them around, though it seems to be becoming a little more known these days, not popular though!

A few other names I have heard around lately,

    Linus
    Owen
    Asher
    Leander
    Oakley
    Neo

I like Griffin the best from your list too.

    Suggestions:
    Taj
Dusk (always loved that as a name, but never had the guts to use it haha!)

I think Tyr and Faolen are both great names, though an alternative spelling for Faolen might avoid a lot of misspelling and misunderstanding.
I also liked the suggestion of Kaelin. I'm a bit over Griffin, because ever since Party of five came out my sister's been telling me that's what she's naming her son.
    Suggesting:

    Cale/Kail
    Rohan
    Rowan

    Some great suggestions here.

Re Griffin and Raven - makes me think Griffindor and Ravanclaw, so not sure about those.

Arlo is a really nice name I think.

Thank you all am really struggling to maintain any interest when looking at names at the moment, which sucks being 30 weeks pregnant.

There are some great suggestions here and I appreciate it.

Things I steer away from are unisex names (hence being sure I won't be using Raven) and names that are similar to the names of my children.

I will be back soon I hope with renewed enthusiasm

    What about
    Dacre (pronounced like Baker)
    Amos
    Grover
    Mordecai
    Burleigh

No chance of them being girl names
