I love Sacha, it sounds so graceful! It is a bit of a mouthful with your surname (damn hubbies and their last names! I have this issue a bit too!) but try and imagine that it is being announced at school assembly for winning a big award, or when she is grown up an they are announcing her winning an olympic medal (or the nobel peace prize, whatever way she goes!) and see if you feel happy about it that way.

Like a pp said, you aren't going to use it that way much so she will just be Sasha to you..

    Good luck deciding!

oh i'm so sorry to admit yeh to me it sounds to be a mouth full, bit like she sells sea shells by the sea shore IYKWIM ... although i do love Sacha too ... Seems Sharkey is a hardish name to team a name with (my previous surname was the same).

***** I like Pricilla on your list there

I like it with Lee in the middle like a previous poster suggested... I was thinking it already as a middle name but I actually really like the hyphenation idea... Sacha-Lee Sharkey

I love it! Sacha Sharkey sounds FANTASTIC. I want that name. I want it to be my name. It is that great. Please, please, please ignore the nay-sayers and call your daughter that. I cannot get over how great the name is. I'm not being funny, I am sat here in awe of the greatness.

I can't criticise same initials for first and last name given that I did that to my DS, although we didn't aim for that at the time. It makes him sound like a superhero's alter ego... just need the "mild-mannered" part to slip in between the "Superhero's" and "alter ego" now.
