DD is 6 and DS 17 but I think he was higher, maybe top ten when he was born, I did look a little while ago. DD middle name in top 5 too

Neither boys names are on list.
But DS1 was 23 on year he was born and DS2 was 31 in birth year.

Doesn't phase me as we love the names.

my two aren't on there and i doubt they ever will be.
funny enough though, if they had been girls there are quite a few names we liked that are on the list.

My DD isn't on there, which I'm quite happy about. But I do have a feeling it may be creeping up, I'm hearing it more than I used to. We have 16 bubs in our mother's group (I think!) and only two have names on the list - there's a Matilda and an Ella.

We are in SA though, I wonder how different the lists are between states?

Had to laugh that Moo's middle name is on the unpopular list, which is Allan, also a family name
That's DS2's middle name too, so not that unpopular

my boys middle names are on the list but funny enough their first names aren't despite them being common.

5, 6 & 7 on the boys list are names 2 of my sons have. In fact Noah is 5 & Thomas is 6 and my son is Noah Thomas. I was surprised that my DS2's name isn't on there. None of my girls names are on the list either. I wonder if it would be different in NSW though?

When we picked dd2s name to be Chloe I thought it was an uncommon name lol. Not unusual or unique but just hadn't heard anyone by that name in a long time itms. Wrong! Lol. Oh well I still love it. I'm surprised Madison isn't on there, that was initially meant to be her name but I knew of heaps born and didn't want her to have too common of a name.....

Variation of DD1 on there but not DD2. For DD3, I'd pick any one on any list - the good or the bad - if DH would only agree to SOMETHING!!!

DDs name is on the list but DSs isn't though it becoming very popular. I don't care about any lists - I chose names that I loved not due to popular / unpopular.

I love seeing these lists. I wish they would release more of the "unpopular" names though. The US puts out the top 1000. The ones down the bottom are the best ones to look at

Funnily enough, DS's name isn't on the list but he's the only kid in his kindy class who's name is doubled up. & I know of about 3 or 4 kids with his name now. Before he was born I only knew of 1.

Nup, neither of my boys' names are on there! The funny thing is that when I tell people what DS2's name is they immediately say, oh is he named after someone?

Not surprised my 2 aren't on the list. It's quite easy to choose names that aren't common but are also spelt correctly and aren't the name of a car or brand of beer (I saw Audi and Toohey on the least common list).
