What about Vibhudesh. The 'h' is silent. It's actually a real Indian name but I don't think it's very common.
I think there was a thread on names from fantasy novels. Lots of great unusual names in there. The one I'm reading at the moment has:
Tyrion
Eddard
Tyrell
Tywin
Jaime
Walder
Hodor
Shagga
Timett
They aren't really indian sounding but they are different
From another book I've read recently:
Rushton
Roland
Brydda
Dameon
Swallow
Angina
Bram
Fian
Dardelan
Malik
Vos
Domick
If you can find that thread, it would be a great source of inspiration. If I can find it I'll link it for you.
Couldn't resist finding it
