I worked with 3 Indian men, their names were Richard, Tony and Ash. They used to sound very Indian when they said them
Tell your friend to watch the tv show Outsourced for inspiration. If all else fails Kikkoman is an awesome name![]()
My ex was Indian... I've got some good ones...
Mohit
Shonit
Anuraag
Arvindra
Sumeet
Zabe
Mithila (Mit-ill-a)
Pushan

Wow! I am so completely saddened to see some members that I have respect for being downright disrespectful in this thread. Duckyboos happens to be a close friend of mine both on and off BB. Okay, so her friends choice in names may not be what you would choose for your own child, but why be so disrespectful to her choices? An honest question was asked and so far, all I have seen is a whole lot of ridicule. Very sad. Someone JOKINGLY asked about some strange name combinations and got more respectful answers than I have seen here. Very sad
Sorry K. I hope your friend finds the perfect name for her bub![]()
I found this thread hilariousI guess it's easy for me to laugh as I'm not the one needing help with names.
I think Zebedee is a nice name for a boy, but these days it sounds like a girls name.
What about Vibhudesh. The 'h' is silent. It's actually a real Indian name but I don't think it's very common.
I think there was a thread on names from fantasy novels. Lots of great unusual names in there. The one I'm reading at the moment has:
Tyrion
Eddard
Tyrell
Tywin
Jaime
Walder
Hodor
Shagga
Timett
They aren't really indian sounding but they are different
From another book I've read recently:
Rushton
Roland
Brydda
Dameon
Swallow
Angina
Bram
Fian
Dardelan
Malik
Vos
Domick
If you can find that thread, it would be a great source of inspiration. If I can find it I'll link it for you.
Couldn't resist finding it
