    I love that name... only heard it on Grey's and lurved it lol. I think I like it spelt with the C better. I can't say though that I'm liking the middle name hun.

    Thanks for your honest opinions guys - and don't feel bad if you don't like the name - even if I suggest names doesn't mean its one we will go with. Heck - it could be a boy! lol

    I actually really like the name and well if I didn't live 1 1/2hr inland of Calliope the town I would have it on my list

    Kalliope is a traditional Greek name meaning "beautiful voice". In Greek mythology she was a goddess of epic poetry and eloquence, one of the nine Muses.

    I am pretty sure in Greek it is pronounced Kal - ee - oh - pee, but a friend with that name goes by the name Kalli.

    I prefer spelling with the K to distinguish it from the Qld town.

    OMG please don't hate me BUT i also instantly thought of Calypso icypole ... i actually pronounced it the same way when i first read your name there

    Of course i love a name starting with C ... as my DD's name starts with a C
