    Ooooh I LOVE Elira!!!

For me... no to Jolie and Tori. But then I don't like Tori Spelling or Angelina Jolie lol. I like Freja and Ruby off your list but if I had to choose, I'd be choosing Elira.

Oh and your reasons for no S or N... same with me, except H or N. Our surname is German ... so omg so many names sound awful with it lol.

Yeah DH family name is German but the decendants came from some small boarder town between Denmark and Germany, on the Dane side.

    Thanks so much everyone.

I do have another Scandinavian name that I would LOVE to use but no one ever seems to like it ... especially DH he hates it. Its Vibeke (Vib - beck- ah) I have loved it since a world famous Ballroom/Latin Dancer came out to Australia when I was 15. She was the most gorgeous woman and was the MOST amazing dancer.

I adore Vibeke but yeah its a name sadly I will never be able to use, not sure I could name my child "little housemaid" either

I love Amara. I sounds soft and feminine when you say it. The hotel chain is Amora.

Aliera is another spelling option for Elira. I just googled Elira. It's an Albanian name, meaning 'free'. I like it.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh thank goodness there seemed something seedy about naming a child the same as a hotel chain Oh I love the different spelling for Aliera had a giggle at the meaning - Free ... I spose she will be once she is out

    I love Amara and Ruby.

I really like the name Allira too, it's an Aboriginal name meaning daughter. (I think)

I love Ruby! It was our girls name last time round and again this time... It's such a pretty name that's cute for a little girl and dignified and sophisticated for a grown woman.
