    My nanna was Bernice Marie, but she hated Bernice so was always called Marie (pronounced MAH ree)
    My grandma was Lorraine, always called Lorrie

    My maternal Nanna is Olive Joan, maternal Greatgrandmother Annie Olivia and my other Greatgrandmother was Madeline Elizabeth Maude
    My paternal Nanna was Barbara Clare and her mum was Millie ( not sure if it was shortened though as I don't know much about my Dad's side of the family)

    i would use Evelyn (or Eve/Evie) in a girls name, but not Nola - i did tell DH i wanted to use Noel for a boy though
